The S2300 offers a full QWERTY keyboard for convenient one-handed typing and a large, bright 2.2-inch landscape display with intuitive access to all the phone's features. In addition to threaded text messaging and pre-loaded social networking access (for Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace), the S2300 also provides access to instant messaging and personal e-mail services (including Yahoo!, AOL, Windows Live, and Gmail).
This GPS-enabled phone provides access to the Virgin Mobile Navigator service for turn-by-turn, voice-guided directions and the ability to search local business and get weather updates (additional charge of $1 per day, charged on only days the service is used). You can also access Google Maps for directions and view real-time traffic conditions.
Other features include a 1.3-megapixel camera for still photos, Bluetooth for hands-free devices and stereo music streaming, Internet access via pre-loaded Opera web browser (which optimizes each web page for your phone's screen), voice dialing capabilities, speakerphone with dedicated function key, a contact directory that can store up to 500 names, and a 3.5mm headset jack (enabling you to use your favorite headphones). You'll also keep yourself organized on the go with productivity features such as an alarm clock, scheduler, memo pad, voice memos, calculator, and more.
